a tragic car accident took place in the Lori region. At 22: 40 on the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway, collided with Mercedes-Benz 35 OQ 953 and Volkswagen branded 36 C S 352 cars in the Spitak administrative area of Yerevan-Vanadzor highway.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, 1 person died on the spot and 3 people were taken to Spitak Medical Center with bodily injuries. The first victims were citizens and operatively arrived by Spitak firefighters and local road police officers from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The rescuers took out the dead car. The 1st platoon 1st class platoon of the 2nd Traffic Police Battalion, headed by Senior Inspector Hayk Aprikyan, arrived at the scene immediately. Responsible duty officer Yervand Alexanyan, who was responsible for the accident, was transferred to the Spitak police division, where the operative group led by head of the department Sergo Avetisyan arrived.
On-site investigation is being led by Gevorg Minasyan, deputy head of the Spitak Investigation Department of the Lori Marz Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, whose decision was 3
instituted under the Article 242 Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code. The Police and the Investigative Division identify the identity of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured.
